Dallas Beachbody Coach. Of all the various things I do in my life right now, being a Dallas Beachbody coach is something that has changed my life completely.
I started on my own physical fitness journey, you can see some of my background in the My Story tab above, and had lost some weight on my own, but had hit a plateau, both weight-wise and in muscle growth. My cousin told me about P90X by Tony Horton, and how it used muscle confusion to prevent your body from ever hitting those plateaus, and that signing up as a coach would save me money and keep me accountable so I gave it a try and became a Dallas Beachbody Coach!
Not only have I enjoyed the obvious fitness aspects of that program, along with other Beachbody programs since then, but it brought me into a social group of some of the most positive, supportive people I've ever met in my life. I've made real friends with people all across the country, who are SO real, down to Earth, uplifting…it's amazing.
The social and personal development aspects of Beachbody have seen me through some tough times and helped me grow as a person and a leader, and I've seen the same growth in those I have coached. I even have one coach who listened to a personal development audio book I recommended, Crush It by Gary Vaynerchuk, and got a promotion at work because she started acting more managerial!
I've played basketball with Tony Horton and Carl Daikeler, and was recently invited to Beachbody corporate headquarters to help contribute to the company. It's a continuous learning and growing experience, and I can't wait to see where it will take me next.
