Being Valentine's Day, I wanted to think of a truly rich, chocolatey Shakeology recipe mixed with a classic Valentine's dessert that could really make a great romantic treat. What better desserts to use than chocolate covered strawberries and strawberries and cream? Two sinfully delicious romantic indulgences that, when used in Shakeology, end up maintaining that indulgent flavor, but in a totally healthy way.
So let's get to the recipe…and this recipe has a touch that sets it apart from your average Shakeology recipe…but we'll get to that!
What you will need:
- 1 scoop chocolate Shakeology
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 cup chopped strawberries
- 1/2 cup ice
What to do:
Per usual, blend the milk, shakeology and ice. Add half the strawberries. Blend until smooth.
Now, STOP the blender. Add the rest of the chopped strawberries. This will give the shake that amazing mouth-feel of biting into a juicy sweet chocolate covered strawberry as the creamy shake enters your mouth.
Try it out, enjoy it, share it with a loved one, and comment here to let me know how it was!
